India are up against New Zealand in the first of the five-match T20I series on Wednesday (January 21) at the VCA stadium in Nagpur.
After a stellar victory in the ODI series and the Test series victory back
in 2024, the Kiwis will be aiming to complete the trinity as they lock horns in the shortest format of international cricket.
The Indian team has a different setup in the T20Is, with Suryakumar Yadav leading the team, while the likes of Sanju Samson, Ishan Kishan and Jasprit Bumrah are among the fresh additions to the side. With the T20 World Cup on the horizon, both teams aim to find their right combination as they prepare for the five-match-long dress rehearsal.
