India and Australia will clash in the 5th and final T20I of the series on November 8, 2025, at The Gabba, Brisbane. India leads the series 2-1 and aims to seal the series with one more win, while Australia looks
to level it on home ground.
India has been consistent, showing good batting starts from players like Shubman Gill and Abhishek Sharma, and strong bowling performances led by Jasprit Bumrah and Washington Sundar.
Australia, meanwhile, has a relatively young and inexperienced bowling attack and will aim to use the fast and bouncy Gabba pitch to their advantage. They need their middle-order to step up and support the bowlers who have struggled at times.
The Gabba pitch offers true bounce and pace, favouring fast bowlers early but allowing batters to play freely once settled. A total around 170-180 could be competitive. India are expected to make a couple of changes for this encounter. The Indian team will be aiming to secure the series, but along with that, they may look to try out the likes of Sanju Samson and Rinku Singh.
Sanju batted only once in the first two matches, while Rinku Singh has yet to play in this series. Shubman Gill may make way for Sanju, who can be slotted in as an opener. On the other hand, team India may also bring in Nitish Reddy for Shivam Dube, while Rinku can come in for Tilak Varma. India will go with Varun Chakravarthy as he remains the sole frontline spinner after Kuldeep Yadav was sent back home for India A preparations.
