TCS World 10K Bengaluru: Blanka Vlašić Named International Event Ambassador For 2026

Bengaluru, 6 April 2026: Procam International has named double Olympic medallist Blanka Vlašić as International Event Ambassador for the Tata Consultancy Services World 10K Bengaluru 2026. The World Athletics Gold Label race will be held on Sunday, 26 April 2026, and enters its 18th edition.

Blanka Vlašić is regarded as one of high jump's finest performers. The Croatian star claimed Olympic silver at Beijing 2008 and Olympic bronze at Rio 2016. She also secured multiple World Championship and World Indoor titles. Her 2.08m personal best from 2009 remains the Croatian national record.

That 2.08m clearance stands as the third-highest jump in women's high jump history. It underlines a career built on longevity and consistent success on the world

stage. Vlašić now brings this experience and profile to Bengaluru, supporting an event that attracts elite runners and mass participants from across India and beyond.

Vlašić on joining TCS World 10K

Speaking about her role, Vlašić said, "I am honoured to be part of the 18th edition of the TCS World 10K Bengaluru. Being associated with an event that brings thousands of people together through running is truly inspiring and energising.

Off the field, Vlašić remains closely linked to sport. She is involved with the 'Champions for Peace' initiative, which gathers prominent athletes to support positive social impact. She also serves as Vice President of the Croatian Olympic Committee, helping guide national sports development and supporting future athletes.
