The Equestrian Premier League (EPL) Show 2025, held on Saturday (November 29) showcased a thrilling day of competition featuring top riders and exceptional equine talent across two major categories - Knockout
and 4 Bar.
Organised by the Embassy International Riding School (EIRS), the EPL is a six-month league designed to consistently test and elevate riders' abilities in both show jumping and dressage.
The latest leg of the league saw standout performances from Thivyesh Ram and Yashaan Khambatta, two riders whose winning rounds showcased the growing depth of India's equestrian talent.
In the Knockout event, Thivyesh Ram, representing Covai Stables (CS), delivered one of the most composed and technically sound performances of the season aboard Klaver. His sharp turns, controlled pace, and flawless jumps earned him first place, along with a ₹30,000 cash prize, trophy, medal, and rosette. His victory also underscored Covai Stables' dominance in the category, with teammates Aradhana Anand and Prathik Raj taking second and third places respectively.
The excitement continued in the 4 Bar competition, where three joint winners emerged after a gripping series of rounds. Yashaan Khambatta, riding Carna De La Bryerr for the Amateur Riders' Club (ARC), impressed with extraordinary confidence and elevation over the rising verticals. His performance earned him a ₹30,000 cash prize and top honours, reinforcing his reputation as one of the most promising young riders in the country.
He shared the winner's podium with United Riders Barn (URB) riders Kiran Akhade on Clarintino Z and Eera Sreeharsha on Mufasa, both of whom delivered equally commanding performances to secure their respective prizes.
4 Bar Event: Three Riders Share Top Spot
- The 4 Bar competition concluded with three joint winners, each delivering faultless rounds marked by power and technique.
- Yashaan Khambatta on Carna De La Bryerr (ARC) impressed with a commanding performance, taking home a ₹30,000 cash prize, trophy, medal, and rosette.
- Kiran Akhade aboard Clarintino Z (URB) matched the effort to earn a ₹20,000 prize along with accolades.
- Eera Sreeharsha, riding Mufasa for URB, completed the trio of champions with a poised jump-off round, securing ₹10,000 plus honours.

As one of India's most respected equestrian leagues, the EPL continues to provide a structured, long-term coaching and competitive environment. Spanning six months, it brings together top riders from clubs across the country while promoting elite standards in both show jumping and dressage.
The EPL 2025 final show once again highlighted the EPL's role in developing the next generation of Indian equestrian talent, offering riders a stage that mirrors global competitive formats.
