Chennai Singams are all set to begin their Indian Street Premier League Season 3 journey against the Tiigers of Kolkata on January 10, 2026, at the Lalbhai Contractor Stadium in Surat. The franchise, co-owned
by Mr. Sandip Gupta, Mr. Rajdip Gupta and actor Suriya Sivakumar will be in action on Saturday. Ankur Singh will lead Chennai Singams in ISPL 3 and Ketan Mhatre will be his deputy. The franchise has brought in Chandrakant Shinde as the Head Coach for the third season.
Chennai Singams will walk into the ISPL Season 3 with confidence, character and a squad that reflects the true spirit of tennis-ball cricket. Semi-finalists in the league's inaugural season, the Chennai Singams carries both experience and unfinished business into the new campaign.
Leading the charge is captain Ankur Singh, whose calm presence and all-round skills have made him one of the most respected names in the game and supported by vice-captain Ketan Mhatre, a crowd favourite known for his fearless stroke play and match-turning ability.
Adding star power and excitement is Krishna Satpute, fondly called the "God of Tennis Ball Cricket," a name that needs little introduction among fans of the format. The squad also features the elegant left-hander Jagannath Sarkar, along with battle-hardened performers like Sambhaji Patil, Munna Shaikh, Mohammed Nadeem, and several others who have built their reputation through grit, street-smart cricket, and big-match temperament.
Talking about the third season, Chennai Singams Co-Owner Mr. Rajdip Gupta said, "ISPL is not just a league for us, it represents the dreams and hard work of countless tennis-ball cricketers across the country. This squad reflects that journey. We have players who have earned every bit of their place through performances on the streets and big stages alike. Season 3 is about belief, hunger, and playing fearless cricket, and we are excited to see the Singams take the field once again. " He further added, "Season 3 is different. The lion is hungry. And when a lion hunts, it doesn't roar, it moves silently. We won't make noise; we'll let our performances do the talking. "
Chennai Singams Co-Owner Actor Suriya added, "A lion knows when to stay calm and when to attack. In a T10 format, aggression matters, but it's team discipline, match pressure, and belief in the moment that truly bring out the roar. "
With passion in their hearts and a loyal fanbase behind them, Chennai Singams will be eager to set the tone early in the tournament. When they step onto the field on January 10, it won't just be the start of a season it will be the beginning of another story written on the streets, under the lights, and in front of fans who live and breathe the game.
