Carlo Ancelotti has clarified that he has not advised Endrick to leave Real Madrid to boost his chances of playing for Brazil in the World Cup. Endrick, who joined Madrid from Palmeiras in 2022, has only
played 12 minutes in LaLiga this season due to a hamstring injury affecting his pre-season and Club World Cup preparations.
The 19-year-old Brazilian is currently on the fringes of Xabi Alonso's squad, which is competing for the title. There are rumours about a potential loan move to Lyon in January, but Ancelotti denies any claims that Endrick has been encouraged to leave Madrid for international ambitions. "He's a very important player because he's one of the talents to have come out of Brazilian football," Ancelotti told Spanish media outlet AS.
Ancelotti emphasised that any decision regarding Endrick's future should be made between the player and Real Madrid. He stated, "We're evaluating him. But it's not true that I said Endrick should leave Real Madrid to go to the World Cup. That's a matter between Real Madrid and the player. "
Endrick played in 22 LaLiga matches during his first season with Madrid. However, his future remains uncertain amid discussions of a possible loan move to Lyon and previous interest from Manchester United. Ancelotti is focused on ensuring Endrick gets regular playing time, regardless of where it might be.
Ancelotti stressed the importance of Endrick returning to regular football action. "It's important for Endrick to start playing again," said Ancelotti. The coach mentioned that he had spoken with Endrick earlier in the season when he was recovering from an injury, but now he is fit and needs to decide what is best for him with the club's guidance.

Ancelotti's Upcoming Matches with Brazil
Ancelotti's Brazil team is set to face Senegal in a friendly match at Emirates Stadium on Saturday, followed by another fixture against Tunisia three days later. These matches are part of Brazil's preparation as they continue their international engagements under Ancelotti's guidance.
Endrick must carefully consider his options with Real Madrid and make decisions that align with both his personal goals and those of the club. The young talent's next steps will be crucial for his development and potential international career with Brazil.
