Kylian Mbappe has decided to leave the France squad to seek more information about an ankle injury in Madrid. The Real Madrid forward recently scored twice in France's 4-0 win over Ukraine, securing their
place at the 2026 World Cup. His second goal marked his 400th career goal for both club and country, and it was his 55th for the national team, putting him just two goals behind Olivier Giroud, France's all-time leading scorer.
In the World Cup qualifiers, Mbappe has been instrumental, scoring five goals and providing three assists. However, he will miss France's final qualifier against Azerbaijan on Sunday. The only match Didier Deschamps' team did not win during their qualification campaign was a 2-2 draw with Iceland when Mbappe was not present.

Mbappe is not the only Real Madrid player to leave the French squad recently. Eduard Camavinga also withdrew due to a minor muscle injury. Real Madrid is scheduled to play Elche on November 23 in their upcoming league match before heading to Greece for a Champions League game against Olympiacos three days later.
The absence of key players like Mbappe and Camavinga could impact both the national team and Real Madrid's upcoming fixtures. As these players focus on recovery, their teams will need to adapt quickly to maintain performance levels in crucial matches ahead.
