Lando Norris has expressed reservations about returning to Las Vegas, describing it as McLaren's most challenging race in the 2025 season. He currently leads the Drivers' Championship with 390 points,
holding a 24-point advantage over Oscar Piastri and a 49-point lead over Max Verstappen. With three races remaining, Norris aims to secure his first world title by adding to his seven victories.
McLaren has faced difficulties at the Las Vegas Grand Prix in recent years. Last season, Norris finished sixth while Piastri came in seventh. The evening race, held under lights and cooler temperatures, has posed challenges for McLaren's car performance. Norris anticipates similar issues this year due to these conditions.
When asked if these conditions would benefit or hinder McLaren, Norris responded: "Hinder, for sure. I think it was our worst race last year. So, I'm not really looking forward to it. " He acknowledged that Mercedes, Red Bull, and Ferrari were particularly strong at this circuit last year, placing McLaren at the bottom of these four teams.

Despite these concerns, Norris remains optimistic about improvements made this year. He stated: "So yeah, we'll wait and see. Obviously, we've improved a lot of things this year, so I'm not going to be too negative about it. " He believes there are still positive aspects to anticipate.
Norris is particularly looking forward to races in Abu Dhabi and Qatar. However, he admits that Las Vegas has been one of their weaker circuits over the past two years. He concluded by saying they will have to wait and see how things unfold in the upcoming race.
