Quinton de Kock headlines the new inclusions in the final IPL 2026 auction list, as 350 players are set to go under the hammer in Abu Dhabi.
The UAE city will host the IPL mini auction on December 16, and a host of new names have been added this time around.
A report from Cricbuzz confirmed that a BCCI mail was sent with the timing of the mini auction, which is set to commence in the second half of the day, thus continuing with the tradition.
"The auction will feature 350 players and will commence at 1 pm UAE time (2.30 PM IST) on Tuesday, 16 December, at the Etihad Arena, Abu Dhabi," a mail from BCCI was quoted.
BCCI announced 1,355 players who had registered for the auction, but after consultation with the franchises, the number has been reduced
significantly to just 350, with top players across the world set to feature for the event.
South Africa's Quinton de Kock is one of the new additions, as the southpaw has registered himself into the Rs 1 crore base price bracket, half of what he was paid by the Kolkata Knight Riders in IPL 2025. As per reports, De Kock's name was included late in it after the recommendation of a franchise. A number of Sri Lankan players are also set to feature in the auction, who were not originally named in the primary list.
Among the Indian players, Assam's Sadek Hussain has made the list, while talented Yash Dicholkar, Rohan Waghsare are also included. Jikku Bright from Kerala has made the list as well.
