It was a disastrous outing for Delhi Capitals at their home ground as they got bundled out for a mere 75 runs against Royal Challengers Bengaluru on Monday (April 27).
After a massive score of 264 runs in the last match against Punjab Kings, Delhi batters witnessed the other side of the coin, as they were castled for a paltry score of 75 runs.
Delhi Capitals lost debutant Sahil Parakh in the second delivery as Bhuvneshwar Kumar uprooted his stumps. KL Rahul, who scored 152 in the last match, was dismissed for 1. And after that, Tristan Stubbs (5), Sameer Rizvi (0), Axar Patel (0) and Nitish Rana (1) have gone back to the hut, leaving them reeling at 8 for 6.
Abishek Porel was sent in as an Impact Player and he took them away from disaster along
with David Miller. Despite a momentary partnership, Miller got dismissed for 19 runs. Kyle Jamieson (12) put up a brief battle but the Capitals were bowled out 75 runs. Abishek Porel was the highest scorer as he played decently for his 30 runs.
Bhuvneshwar Kumar picked up three wickets, while Josh Hazlewood ended up with four scalps to his name.
