The agent, aged 31, was arrested two days later at his home on suspicion of possession of a firearm with intent to cause fear of violence, blackmail, extortion, and driving without a license. Despite the traumatic episode, Udogie returned to play promptly, featuring in Tottenham's Champions League 4-0 win over FC Copenhagen shortly after. He also played in the Premier League game against West Ham a week later. Udogie joined Spurs from Udinese in 2022 and recently signed a contract extension keeping him at the club until 2030.
