The Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, established by the Hyderabad Cricket Association (HCA) with the support of the state government in 2003, will play host to at least nine games during the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026.
The venue, famously known as Hyderabad Cricket Stadium, has served as home venue to Hyderabad state teams, the Indian cricket team, and since 2008, when IPL started, as a home to the Hyderabad-based franchises - defunct Deccan Chargers, and now the Sunrisers Hyderabad.
