ONE Championship has announced the main event of ONE Fight Night 40, airing live on 14 February 2026 from Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand, featuring reigning ONE Strawweight Kickboxing World Champion Jackie
Buntan defending her crown against the strawweight Muay Thai titleholder Stella Hemetsberger.
The Filipino-American superstar will put her title on the line against the 26-year-old Austrian champion in a highly anticipated rematch. These powerful strikers previously clashed in the main event of ONE Fight Night 35 in September 2025.
That epic five-round war for the vacant ONE Women's Strawweight Muay Thai World Championship saw both fighters battle tooth-and-nail before Hemetsberger claimed the title via decision, becoming Austria's first-ever ONE World Champion and completing her inspiring journey from sports science graduate to World Champion.
However, the 28-year-old Buntan holds the strawweight kickboxing crown and will look to defend it successfully against the woman who defeated her under Muay Thai rules. This rematch allows Buntan to prove her kickboxing superiority over her Austrian rival.
Hemetsberger carries an impressive 9-1 career record and pristine ONE Championship slate with four victories, including one first-round finish. The Austrian sensation now has the opportunity to become her country's first-ever two-sport ONE World Champion.
Also featured on the card, teenage prodigy Adrian Lee returns to face Japan's Shozo Isojima in a lightweight MMA contest. The 19-year-old Singaporean-American from Prodigy Training Center secured three explosive submission victories since his June 2024 debut.
However, in September 2025, Adrian challenged ONE Welterweight Submission Grappling World Champion Tye Ruotolo in Ruotolo's MMA debut. He suffered a rear-naked choke defeat in the second round.
Now Adrian looks to bounce back in style against the 28-year-old Isojima, who carries a 6-1 career record. The Japanese fighter also suffered his last loss to Tye via rear-naked choke submission, creating an interesting storyline between both competitors.
