Kerala will face Saurashtra tomorrow in the Ranji Trophy cricket match at the KCA Stadium in Manglapuram, Thiruvananthapuram.
After suffering an innings defeat against Karnataka in the previous round, this
upcoming match is crucial for Kerala. From three matches so far, Kerala have collected only two points, while Saurashtra have five points from three drawn games.
Ahead of the clash with Saurashtra, Kerala have made a few changes to their squad. Varun Nayanar and Akarsh A Krishnamoorthy, who impressed in the C.K. Nayudu Trophy, have been called up. Sibin P Gireesh, who has shown strong form in the KCA League, also joins the team. On the other side, former Indian player Jaydev Unadkat will lead Saurashtra.
In the 2025-26 Ranji Trophy season, Kerala is competing in Group B of the Elite category alongside teams like Saurashtra, Karnataka, Maharashtra, and others. As of early November 2025, Kerala has played three matches in this season, with a record of no wins, one loss, and two draws, earning a total of 2 points.
