Nacho Elvira won the 2026 Dubai Invitational at Dubai Creek Resort on Sunday, 19 January. The Spaniard claimed his third DP World Tour title after a tense final round. As many as five players shared the lead
during a tight closing stretch.
Elvira, the overnight leader, moved three shots clear after a third birdie at the seventh hole. He then left the door open with back-to-back bogeys to finish the front nine. Rory McIlroy, Shane Lowry, Daniel Hillier and Marcus Armitage drew level at nine under.
Hillier set the clubhouse target at nine under. Elvira responded with his first birdie of the back nine at the 17th to lead by one. He then made a calm par at the 18th hole to close out a controlled, one-shot victory under pressure.
McIlroy looked out of the race early after two dropped shots and one gain in his first seven holes. He then charged back into a share of the lead with five straight birdies from the ninth. A bogey at the last ended his title push.
