Paris Saint-Germain moved clear at the Ligue 1 summit with a 3-1 home victory against Toulouse, opening a four-point cushion over Lens. Ousmane Dembele struck twice and Goncalo Ramos added a late third, as Luis Enrique’s team controlled most phases at the Parc des Princes.
Dembele’s double continued a strong scoring run since January 2025, while the win strengthened PSG’s position in the title race. Toulouse briefly threatened through Rasmus Nicolaisen’s header, yet the visitors created little overall, finishing with far fewer shots and a much lower expected goals total.
PSG began quickly, pinning Toulouse deep. Khvicha Kvaratskhelia forced Guillaume Restes into two early stops, then sent another effort wide as chances arrived inside the opening
quarter-hour. The pressure finally told on 23 minutes when Dembele met a dropping ball on the edge of the area with a controlled volley.
Toulouse replied almost at once, capitalising on a mistake from Matvey Safonov. Nicolaisen met a cross with a looping header that drifted beyond the PSG goalkeeper into the far corner. The hosts responded again soon after, with Lee Kang-in’s inswinging corner flicked on by Kvaratskhelia, allowing Dembele a simple close-range finish.
Dembele later had a potential hat-trick goal disallowed for offside, before Willian Pacho and Kvaratskhelia both went close to stretching the lead. The third goal arrived when Ramos collected the ball outside the box and bent a curling strike that hit the post before crossing the line.
Across the full match, PSG produced 17 shots and generated 1.78 expected goals, while Toulouse attempted five efforts for 0.16 xG. Dembele’s brace raised the tally to 41 goals in 62 club games across all competitions since January 2025, after scoring 40 in 202 appearances between January 2019 and December 2024.

Kvaratskhelia delivered an all-round performance beyond a single assist. The winger won all 13 duels, completed three dribbles, and succeeded with four of five tackles, both defensive numbers leading the match. Kvaratskhelia also created three chances and recorded six shots, more than any other player on the pitch.
With the victory, PSG combined clinical finishing from Dembele and Ramos with strong metrics in possession and chance creation. The result tightened their grip on first place, while detailed data highlighted Kvaratskhelia’s influence and underlined how little Toulouse created despite Nicolaisen’s brief equaliser.
