Childhood friends and relatives Manu Francis (31) and Prince Noble (30) from Kochi bagged India's first sailing medal at the 2026 Asian Games, winning silver in the men's 49er skiff event in Nagoya.
Finishing second behind China with 23 points across nine races, the Indian Army pair capped off a long journey. Their partnership began in Kerala, developed through Bhopal's National Sailing School and the Muziris Yachting Club, and produced back-to-back Asian Championship bronzes before reaching this continental landmark.
