Preity Zinta and Priyansh Arya reached out to a fan injured during an IPL 2026 match, personally checking on his recovery and inviting him to attend a future Punjab Kings fixture in Dharamshala.
The interaction came after 62-year-old Krishan Chand was struck by a six during the Punjab Kings vs Lucknow Super Giants match held on April 19 at the New International Cricket Stadium.

The incident occurred in the fourth over of the match when Priyansh Arya struck a six that travelled into Harbhajan Stand A, where it hit Krishan Chand on the face.
The impact caused bleeding, and stadium medical staff responded immediately. He was first attended to at the Spectator Medical Point before being transported to a nearby clinic via a Civil Hospital ambulance.
His son, who is a doctor, accompanied him during treatment.
Krishan Chand received stitches following the injury and is now reported to be stable and recovering well.

Soon after learning about the incident, Preity Zinta and Priyansh Arya personally connected with Krishan Chand through a video call to check on his condition.
The call also included Ashish Tuli, General Manager of Cricket Operations at Punjab Kings, reflecting the franchise's collective concern for the injured spectator's wellbeing.
The gesture highlighted the franchise's effort to maintain a personal connection with supporters, particularly in situations involving fan safety.
