As per a CricBlogger report, BCCI sources claimed that Bumrah is expected to return for the ODI series against England, which will mark the next phase of planning.
Officials believe this schedule would hand Bumrah roughly six weeks of recovery before structured World Cup preparation begins. The aim is to keep the right-arm pacer fresh for the long campaign in 2027, while avoiding excessive cricket after a demanding season across formats and tournaments, including the ongoing IPL commitments.
