The FA Cup 4th Round took place on Monday as Arsenal, Manchester City and others have learned their opponents for the upcoming stage of the competition.
The oldest club competition had an enthralling 3rd
round, which saw the departure of holders Crystal Palace, while Manchester United also exited the competition.

The 2025-26 FA Cup third round produced historic upsets, dramatic penalty shootouts, and dominant Premier League performances as the field narrowed to 32 teams. Non-league Macclesfield FC stunned holders Crystal Palace 2-1, marking the biggest gap in divisions for any FA Cup upset at 117 places.
Non-league sides and lower-tier teams caused chaos. Macclesfield FC defeated Crystal Palace 2-1, the first non-league win over FA Cup holders since 1939. Wrexham edged Nottingham Forest 3-3 (4-3 pens), while Sunderland beat Everton 1-1 (3-0 pens) thanks to goalkeeper Robin Roefs saving all three spot-kicks.
Premier League Dominance
Top-flight teams largely prevailed with flair. Manchester City crushed Exeter City 10-1, their biggest FA Cup win since 1987. Wolves thrashed Shrewsbury Town 6-1, Chelsea routed Charlton 5-1, and Arsenal dismantled Portsmouth 4-1.
Penalty heroics defined several ties. Newcastle survived Bournemouth 3-3 (7-6 pens) after extra-time drama. Aston Villa overcame Tottenham 2-1, Brighton stunned Manchester United 2-1, and Leeds beat Derby 3-1.
