Both teams were missing their top scorers during the game. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander was absent for the Thunder due to left elbow bursitis, and Lauri Markkanen missed out for the Jazz because of an undisclosed illness. The Thunder ended the first quarter with a commanding 45-20 lead over the Jazz. Kyle Filipkowski led Utah with 21 points and ten rebounds, while Walter Clayton Jr. and Taylor Hendricks each scored 20 points. Oklahoma City capitalised on Utah's mistakes, scoring 27 points from 17 turnovers.

In another match, LeBron James played a crucial role in the Los Angeles Lakers' victory over the Philadelphia 76ers with a score of 112-108. James scored a decisive late three-pointer and finished with 29 points. Luka Doncic also shone with a triple-double performance, contributing significantly to the Lakers' win.
Joel Embiid struggled with his shooting but managed to tie the game at 105 with an 18-footer. James responded by hitting a three-pointer with just over a minute left, followed by another shot to extend the lead to five points. Doncic ended with an impressive stat line of 31 points, 15 rebounds, and 11 assists.

The Denver Nuggets continued their impressive form on the road by defeating the Charlotte Hornets 115-106. Jamal Murray led Denver with 34 points, while Nikola Jokic added another strong performance with 28 points, eleven assists, and nine rebounds.
Nuggets Extend Road Streak
The Nuggets have now won ten straight games away from home, setting a franchise record. Tim Hardaway Jr. contributed off the bench with fourteen points for Denver. Despite Miles Bridges scoring twenty-four points for Charlotte and Brandon Miller adding sixteen more, injuries hampered their efforts.

The Hornets attempted a comeback in the fourth quarter but couldn't maintain momentum against Denver's strong play. Rookie Liam McNeeley provided some spark off Charlotte's bench by scoring thirteen points on efficient shooting from beyond the arc.
