Ishan Kishan's two-ball duck ended in a costly mix-up with Abhishek Sharma, with Sunil Gavaskar saying the dismissal was "entirely" the wicketkeeper's fault.
India opener Ishan Kishan endured a forgettable outing in the first T20I against England after being run out for a two-ball duck following a mix-up with opening partner Abhishek Sharma.
The dismissal quickly went viral on social media, with stump microphones picking up Abhishek's frustrated reaction as Kishan attempted a risky single.
"Kya kar raha hai?" Abhishek Sharma fumes after mix-up
The incident occurred early in India's innings when Kishan set off for a single that Abhishek had no intention of taking.

Realising the danger, Abhishek immediately sent his partner
back while shouting:
"Kya kar raha hai?" (What are you doing?)
By then, it was too late. Kishan was comfortably run out, leaving India one wicket down after failing to open his account.
Sunil Gavaskar: "Entirely Ishan Kishan's fault"
The dismissal sparked debate over who should shoulder the blame, but former India captain Sunil Gavaskar had little doubt.
"You want to get off the mark as quickly as you can, especially in this format of the game. But it was not Abhishek Sharma's fault. It was all, entirely, Ishan Kishan's fault," Gavaskar said on commentary.
India recover through Abhishek and Iyer
Despite the early setback, India recovered strongly thanks to Abhishek Sharma and captain Shreyas Iyer.
Abhishek counter-attacked with a blistering 59 off just 24 balls, smashing six fours and four sixes, while Iyer anchored the innings with his maiden T20I fifty as captain, scoring 68 from 47 deliveries.
Shivam Dube then provided the late flourish with an unbeaten 42 off 21 balls as India finished on 189/7.
Rain washes out England's chase
England never got the opportunity to begin their reply after heavy rain arrived at the Riverside Ground immediately following India's innings.
Despite waiting until the cut-off time for a possible five-over contest, persistent rain forced the umpires to abandon the match without a ball being bowled in England's innings.
The teams will now look to take the lead when the second T20I gets underway.
