Pakistan, ranked eighth, slipped to 62 for five in nine overs. Muneeba Ali top-scored with 20 from 22 balls. Iram Javed and Fatima Sana scored quickly before rain stopped play. Scotland, ranked 11th, won by 41 runs under DLS.

Maguire spell secures Ireland win
Ireland, ranked ninth, struggled to 143 for nine. Sanjida Akter Meghla took three for 26. Marufa Akter claimed two for 18 in support. Rebecca Stokell top-scored with 30, while Ava Canning hit 21 off eight balls.
Bangladesh, ranked 10th, replied with 132 for six. Juairiya Ferdous struck 50 from 38, attacking through the middle overs. Aimee Maguire removed four partners, returning figures of four for 20. Bangladesh finished 11 runs short despite a strong platform.
Kerr edges Tryon in high-scoring clash
South Africa reached 183 for five after being sent in. Captain Laura Wolvaardt made 43 from 27 balls. Nadine de Klerk added 46 from 33. Chloe Tryon finished 61 not out from 26, hitting six sixes.
New Zealand, ranked fourth, chased 184 with two balls left. Amelia Kerr hit 61 from 32 deliveries. Georgia Plimmer added 38 before both fell to keeper Karabo Meso. Sophie Devine struck 28, then Brooke Halliday and Maddy Green finished the job.
New Zealand's title defence begins against West Indies in Southampton. That match is on 13 June. South Africa face Australia the same day in Manchester. Both contests repeat 2024 semi-final match-ups.
Karunaratne, Samarawickrama guide Sri Lanka home
The Netherlands, ranked 14th, posted 143 for six in Derby. Heather Siegers scored 48 from 32 balls. Sterre Kalis contributed 45 from 41 deliveries. Sri Lanka, ranked sixth, hit back late, taking four wickets for 11 runs.
Sri Lanka slipped to 30 for two inside the powerplay. Hasini Perera then added 31 from 20 before falling. Stand-in captain Harshitha Samarawickrama made 36 not out. Hansima Karunaratne scored 54 not out, sharing an unbeaten 81-run stand.
Sri Lanka reached 146 for three in 19.1 overs. They open the tournament against hosts England on 12 June. The Netherlands face Bangladesh at Edgbaston on 14 June. It will be their first Women's T20 World Cup match.
