Is Virat Kohli available to play in the Vijay Hazare Trophy encounter for the match against Railway on Tuesday? That's a question which is making the rounds.
The star India batter played the first two matches for Delhi in the domestic 50-over tournament and was set to play the upcoming match against Railways, but his participation remains a doubt. Kohli is part of the India squad for the upcoming New Zealand ODI matches, and the match on Tuesday would have been his final rehearsal.

In the ongoing 2025-26 season, Kohli returned in sublime form, scoring 131 against Andhra - helping Delhi chase 299 successfully and becoming the fastest to 16,000 List A runs. He scored 77 off 61 balls against Gujarat in a thrilling 7-run win. He also equalled the record
for fastest to 1,000 VHT runs and continued his dominance.
Will Virat Kohli play against Railways?
Virat Kohli was initially set to play three matches for Delhi in the Vijay Hazare Trophy. DDCA chief Rohan Jaitley earlier said that Kohli would play against Railways. But on Monday, reports have emerged that Kohli is unavailable for the match.
"No, he is not available," Delhi coach Sarandeep Singh was quoted as saying by Hindustan Times. Delhi will be led by Rishabh Pant, who has found himself out of the India 50-over squad as well.
Speaking of Virat, he has been in sublime form of late. Kohli was the top-scorer in the ODI series against South Africa and won the Player of the Series award. The veteran is expected to play all three ODIs against the Kiwis as well, which starts from January 11 in Vadodara.
