Kerala Blasters FC wrapped up their Indian Super League 2025-26 season with a 2-1 home win over FC Goa at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Kochi on 18 May 2026, closing their campaign with a strong result in front of home supporters.
The result extended Kerala Blasters FC's unbeaten streak to six matches and ensured an eighth-place finish, with 17 points from 13 games. FC Goa stayed one place higher in seventh, ending on 20 points after also completing their league schedule with this fixture.

The contest came alive after the interval, with all three goals arriving in the second half. Kevin Yoke fired Kerala Blasters FC ahead in the 48th minute, before FC Goa's Muhammed Nemil levelled in the 62nd minute. Centre-back Fallou Ndiaye then struck the decisive
goal in the 81st minute for the hosts.
Kerala Blasters FC began the second half with greater urgency and attacking intent, quickly pushing FC Goa deeper. Yoke repeatedly drove at the visiting defence and tested their shape. FC Goa replied with neat passing spells and forward runs, yet Kerala Blasters FC stayed composed during the later counter-attacks and pressure.

Earlier, the opening period saw FC Goa settle more quickly on the ball. Kerala Blasters FC started by winning an early free-kick through VÍctor Bertomeu, but FC Goa soon dictated possession. Ronney Willson Kharbudon and Dejan Dražić both went close, and Nemil forced goalkeeper Arsh Shaikh into a save from distance.
Despite FC Goa enjoying longer spells on the ball, Kerala Blasters FC created several of the clearer openings before half-time. Vibin Mohanan drew a sharp stop from Bob Jackson, and a sequence of home corners was defended strongly by Pol Moreno and teammates. Nihal Sudeesh missed narrowly, while Udanta Singh's header needed another smart save from Arsh Shaikh.
The breakthrough finally arrived soon after the restart when Yoke produced a powerful strike from outside the penalty area, sending the ball into the top corner. FC Goa responded with a controlled spell, and in the 62nd minute, Brison Fernandes delivered a low cross that Nemil finished calmly from close range to restore parity.
The winner came from a set piece late on. In the 81st minute, Francisco Feuillassier swung in a dangerous corner, and Ndiaye met it with a right-footed effort into the bottom corner. FC Goa then committed more players forward, with Prachit Vishwas among those seeing shots blocked, but Kerala Blasters FC managed the closing minutes well to secure the victory and end their league campaign on a positive note.
