The iconic Eden Gardens stadium in Kolkata is set to host a few of the T20 World Cup 2026 matches as it starts from February 7 in India and Sri Lanka.
Eden Gardens, known for its vibrant crowd and a rich
heritage, hosted a T20 World Cup final back in 2016. The iconic stadium will host six matches in this edition. Along with five group stage matches, it will also host a Super 8 Group match. A semifinal is also set to be played at the venue but it will be moved out to Colombo if Pakistan qualifies for it.
