FC Goa are up against Al Nassr in a crucial AFC Champions League 2 match on Wednesday (November 5).
As per Saudi outlet Al Riyadiah, Al-Nassr have named Cristiano Ronaldo in their squad for the return leg
against FC Goa in Riyadh.
Although Ronaldo was rested during the first leg in Goa, the decision to include him this time has ignited hopes among fans to see the Portugal star play against an Indian club.
Al-Nassr currently lead Group D and enter this encounter as favourites. The Saudi giants come into the match after a mixed domestic spell-being eliminated from the King's Cup by Al-Ittihad but securing a late penalty win against Al-Fayha in the league, which keeps their season's momentum intact.
Will Cristiano Ronaldo play Today?
Cristiano Ronaldo has been in action for Al Nassr in the domestic league as he played in their latest match against Al Fayha. Despite his inclusion in the squad, head coach Jorge Jesus may continue to rotate the team, leaving Ronaldo's participation uncertain. The former Real Madrid player may come on as a substitute later in the match.
On the flip side, FC Goa travel with growing confidence, fueled by recent success in domestic competition where they won two of their last three Super Cup 2025 fixtures, securing a semifinal spot. For FC Goa's head coach Manolo Marquez, this match is about translating that winning form onto the continental stage.
