One of the headline fixtures on the opening day sees India A take on the United States of America at the D.Y. Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai, with the match starting at 5 PM IST. India A, led by Ayush Badoni, will play two warm-up games as part of India's carefully managed build-up to the tournament. The senior Indian team, meanwhile, will feature in just one official warm-up match, against South Africa, in an effort to manage workload and avoid player fatigue.

The India A fixtures offer selectors a valuable opportunity to assess reserve players ahead of the tournament. Tilak Varma returns to action after being cleared by the BCCI's Centre of Excellence in Bengaluru following abdominal surgery, while Riyan Parag also makes his comeback after recovering from a shoulder injury. Both players are expected to play key roles as India test bench strength and flexibility.

All warm-up matches are non-competitive in nature. Results will not count towards standings, teams can use all 15 squad members, and there is no requirement to name a final playing XI at the toss.

Matches in India will be held in Bengaluru, Navi Mumbai, and Chennai. The opening day schedule features Afghanistan vs Scotland in Bengaluru at 3 PM, India A vs USA in Navi Mumbai at 5 PM, and Canada vs Italy in Chennai at 7 PM.
