East Bengal FC have signed Spanish-Moroccan striker Youssef Ezzejjari on a free transfer from Singapore's Tanjong Pagar United, bolstering their attack for the ISL 2025-26 season.
The 32-year-old centre-forward joined East Bengal on February 1, 2026, with a contract running until May 31, 2027. This free move replaces Hiroshi Ibusuki and adds experience without a fee, despite his €200k market value. Ezzejjari arrived in Kolkata after securing his visa, ready to debut soon.

Manlleu, Terrassa FC, and SD Oyonesa, scoring 16 goals in one season. He then ventured abroad to Andorra's Club Esportiu Carroi, followed by stints in Indonesia (Persik Kediri), Thailand (Khon Kaen United), Cambodia (Visakha FC), Malaysia, and Singapore.
For Visakha, he scored 10 goals in 11 matches, and also netted 5 goals is six for Singapore's Tanjong Pagar United.
