Viral Video: Ishan Kishan, Vaibhav Sooryavanshi show Dancing Skills as East Zone win Duleep Trophy

East Zone secured a memorable moment as they defeated South Zone to lift their 3rd Duleep Trophy title at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai.

Despite a draw, East Zone were crowned champions by virtue of their commanding first innings lead, thus waiting a 14-year-long wait for the Duleep Trophy title.

The foundation for East Zone's triumph was laid by captain Ishan Kishan, who produced a stunning 270 from 334 balls. His marathon innings featured 30 fours and seven sixes and helped East Zone post a mammoth 708 all out. Kumar Kushagra also contributed a crucial century, scoring 101, while Shikhar Mohan added 85.

South Zone struggled to match that total despite useful contributions from skipper Tilak Varma and Devdutt Padikkal. Tilak fell agonisingly

short of a century, scoring 99 from 211 balls, while Padikkal made 62. East Zone's bowlers, led by Tripurana Vijay and Mukesh Kumar, eventually dismissed South Zone for 336, giving the champions a massive 372 run first innings lead.

With the title effectively secured, East Zone batted again and finished on 212/5 before the captains shook hands on a draw. Kishan continued his outstanding match with an 80, while Shikhar Mohan scored 52. Md Kounain Qureshi remained unbeaten on 26 at stumps.

Kishan finished with a remarkable 350 runs across the two innings, including his 270 and 80, and was named Player of the Match. Tilak Varma was adjudged Player of the Series. The victory marked East Zone's first Duleep Trophy triumph since 2013 and capped a memorable campaign for Kishan's side.

After their Duleep Trophy triumph, both Ishan Kishan and Vaibhav Sooryavanshi were in a joyous mood. At the team huddle, Kishan started dancing and Sooryavanshi joined him soon. The duo were seen dancing with the stumps on their hand.

The likes of Anukul Roy, Mohammed Shami, Mukesh Kumar didn't join them for the dance but were thoroughly enjoying it as the duo showed their moves.
