The Ballon d'Or 2025 ceremony has concluded at the Theatre du Chatelet in Paris, crowning the best footballers of the 2024/25 season in a spectacular event.
France and PSG star Ousmane Dembele won the 69th Ballon d'Or in Paris. Spain and Barcelona women player Aitana Bonmati won the women's Ballon d'Or award, thus winning her 3rd consecutive crown.
The ceremony featured awards like the Kopa Trophy for the best young male and female players, the Yashin Trophy for top goalkeepers, and the Gerd MÜller Trophy for the leading goal-scorers. Barcelona sensation Lamine Yamal won the Kopa Trophy, whereas Viktor Gyokeres of Arsenal was handed the men's Gerd Muller Trophy. PSG and Arsenal were awarded as men's and women's club of the season.

Ousmane Dembele won the Men's Ballon d'Or award. The Frenchman was a key force behind PSG's treble winning season.
Women's Ballon d'Or
Aitana Bonmati of FC Barcelona Femeni won the Women's Ballon d'Or 2025 award. The Spaniard was part of the Barcelona side which reached the final of the Women's Champions League, and won the Liga F, Copa de la Reina and Supercopa de Espana.

Lamine Yamal of FC Barcelona has won the Men's Kopa Trophy.

Sócrates Award 2025
The Socrates Award, which is handed out for best social engagement and humanitarian work, was awarded to Xana Foundation, and Sira Martinez accepted the award on behalf of the organisation. Sira is the daughter of PSG coach Luis Enrique, and Xana was also Luis' daughter, who unfortunately passed away in 2019.
