In a dominant display at the Zayed Cricket Stadium on Sunday night, the UAE Bulls secured their first Abu Dhabi T10 title with an emphatic 80-run victory over the Aspin Stallions.
The Bulls' clinical performance was led by an exceptional innings from Tim David, whose 98-run masterclass set an imposing target and laid the foundation for the win.
Earlier in the day, the Bulls crushed the Quetta Qavalry in Qualifier 2, maintaining their momentum into the final. The Australian star David smashed an incredible 98 runs off just 30 balls, including 3 fours and 12 sixes, showcasing a strike rate of 326.66. His explosive batting included a memorable 32-run final over against Ashmead Nedd, which capped off his season tally at 393 runs.
Opening for the Bulls,
Phil Salt contributed 18 runs before getting out, and despite James Vince retiring hurt without facing a ball, the Bulls posted a massive total backed by David's partnership with Rovman Powell, who added 24 runs.
The Stallions struggled with the bat and lost early wickets, succumbing to the pressure exerted by the Bulls' bowlers. Rashid Farooqi, Junaid Siddique, Iftikhar Ahmed, and Qais Ahmad shared the wickets as the Stallions were restricted to 70 runs.
