Patrick Reed secured the 2026 Hero Dubai Desert Classic with a controlled final round to seal a first Rolex Series title on the DP World Tour, converting a four-shot overnight lead into a commanding four-stroke victory over Andy Sullivan and ending the week on 14 under at Emirates Golf Club.
The one-time major champion posted a level-par 72 on Sunday, mixing two birdies with two bogeys, and kept enough distance from the chasing pack, as Julien Guerrier claimed third on nine under after an eagle, two birdies and a bogey, while several leading European names filled the top ten.
Reed, who is 35, began the final round with a four-shot cushion and briefly saw that margin reduced when David Puig surged with a run of three straight birdies, yet the American
steadied his position with birdies at the 10th and 13th holes, restoring a four-stroke advantage that Reed maintained through the closing stretch.
The title is Reed's first DP World Tour crown since the 2020 WGC-Mexico Championship and fills a gap in Reed's career record, with Reed having already collected wins in majors and World Golf Championships, which were co-sanctioned, but not a standalone DP World Tour victory before this week in Dubai.
| Player | Score | Position |
|---|---|---|
| Patrick Reed | 14 under | Winner |
| Andy Sullivan | 10 under | 2nd |
| Julien Guerrier | 9 under | 3rd |
| Nicolai Hojgaard | 8 under | T-4th |
| Francesco Molinari | 8 under | T-4th |
| Jayden Schaper | 8 under | T-4th |
| Ricardo Gouveia | 7 under | T-7th |
| Marcus Armitage | 7 under | T-7th |
| David Puig | 7 under | T-7th |
Nicolai Hojgaard, Francesco Molinari and Jayden Schaper finished one shot behind Guerrier, tied for fourth on eight under, while Ricardo Gouveia, Marcus Armitage and Puig closed at seven under, with Puig receiving a two-shot penalty on the 72nd hole for grounding a club in the bunker at the last.
Rory McIlroy concluded the tournament on two under and 12 shots adrift of Reed, sharing that total with 2025 champion Tyrrell Hatton, and world number three Tommy Fleetwood carded a final-round 69 that moved Fleetwood 20 places up the leaderboard into a tie for 41st after a low-key start to the week.
I think the biggest thing this week that was so special is I've won on every tour except this one, Reed said at his winner's press conference. Even though online it says I have three wins, one was a Major and two were WGC events. So they are all co-sanctioned events. It's something that's always kind of been eating at me, sitting there not actually having a win over here. And to come to a place where we had a chance in 2023 and allowed that one to kind of slip by, it was very important for me to come out here and play well. And to have that opportunity, and to close it off means a lot to me, especially doing it here in Dubai, which I love coming to, makes it even more special.

The result confirms a long-sought DP World Tour success for Reed at the Dubai Desert Classic, after a missed opportunity in 2023 at the same event, and underlines Reed's strong record in the Middle East, where Reed has often stated a clear appreciation for competing in Dubai.
