Arsenal goalkeeper David Raya has been named the winner of the 2025/26 Premier League Golden Glove after finishing the season with 18 clean sheets, thus becoming the first player to win it three seasons in a row after Joe Hart.
The 30-year-old Spaniard secured the award following Arsenal's 1-0 victory against West Ham United. With 18 clean sheets from 36 appearances, Raya finished ahead of other contenders, including Manchester City's Gianluigi Donnarumma. This marks his third consecutive Golden Glove title.
Raya conceded 26 goals across the campaign and recorded 60 saves with a save percentage of 69.41%. His total of 18 clean sheets represents a personal best, improving on 13 clean sheets in the 2023/24 season and 16 in 2024/25.
Performance Against West Ham
Arsenal defeated
West Ham 1-0 at the London Stadium in a tightly contested match. Raya played a key role in maintaining the clean sheet, producing multiple important saves throughout the game.
One late save in particular prevented West Ham from equalising and drew significant attention for its quality. Raya also continued playing after a physical challenge during the match. The result kept Arsenal in contention for the league title with three matches remaining.
Manager Mikel Arteta has previously highlighted Raya's consistency and contribution to the team's defensive record. The goalkeeper, who joined Arsenal from Brentford, has established himself as a regular starter and key figure in the side.
The Golden Glove is awarded annually to the goalkeeper with the most clean sheets in the Premier League season. Previous multiple winners include Pepe Reina, Joe Hart and Ederson. Raya's achievement adds to his record as one of the league's more consistent performers between the posts this season.
