Social media buzz surrounds Indian cricketer Smriti Mandhana and music composer Palash Muchhal after their planned November 23 wedding in Sangli was postponed due to health issues affecting Smriti's father, Shrinivas, who required hospitalization on the ceremony day.

Palash was admitted the following day in Sangli before transfer to Mumbai, with Smriti's business manager confirming the delay stemmed from these emergencies. Both have since been discharged, yet no rescheduled date has been shared by the families.​

Smriti removed most wedding-related Instagram posts, retaining only casual photos with Palash, which intensified online speculation about a possible split. Both then added identical 'nazar' emojis (🧿) to their Instagram bios, prompting
