Who is Kartik Sharma?
Kartik Sharma is an exciting young cricketer known for his clean striking and ability to finish innings with power. Born in 2006 in Rajasthan into a middle-class family, his journey began in street cricket before moving to structured training at a local academy.
Coaches early on recognised his natural timing and fearless approach. Progressing steadily, Kartik represented Rajasthan at the U-14 level, became a consistent U-16 performer, and produced breakthrough displays in U-19 cricket. Inspired by MS Dhoni and Virat Kohli, their influence is evident in his calm temperament and attacking mindset.
At just 19, Kartik's talent has earned recognition from JSW, a group that manages elite athletes such as Neeraj Chopra. His performances back the promise-334 runs in 12 T20 matches at a strike rate of 164, including 28 sixes. He made a dream start to first-class cricket with a 113-run century on his Ranji Trophy debut against Uttarakhand in the 2024-25 season. In List A cricket, he topped Rajasthan's charts with 445 runs in nine matches. In the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy, his maturity, adaptability, and wicketkeeping skills have established him as a valuable dual-role player.
