ONE Championship has revealed an explosive World Title match for ONE Fight Night 41, set to take place on 14 March from Bangkok's Lumpinee Stadium, featuring reigning ONE Welterweight Submission Grappling
World Champion Tye Ruotolo defending his crown against promotional newcomer Pawel Jaworski in a 10-minute bout.
The American champion brings a perfect 10-0 promotional submission record into this title defense, including eight consecutive submission grappling victories and two MMA wins. Widely regarded as one of the pound-for-pound best submission grapplers on the planet, Tye has dominated every opponent.
The 22-year-old made his ONE debut against American ace Garry Tonon in 2022, submitting him in less than two minutes to announce his arrival. He then defeated elite opposition including Marat Gafurov, Reinier de Ridder, and Dagi Arslanaliev to earn his inaugural title opportunity.
In November 2023, Tye defeated Magomed Abdulkadirov to capture the ONE Welterweight Submission Grappling World Championship. Since claiming gold, the American has defended his title twice against top-tier opponents while maintaining his perfect promotional record.
Last September, Tye made his highly anticipated MMA debut by submitting teenage prodigy Adrian Lee via rear-naked choke in the second round. The champion followed up in November with another submission victory, capping off 2025 with dominance across both grappling and mixed martial arts.
Now the undefeated champion looks to start 2026 with a bang against a dangerous Polish challenger. The 21-year-old Jaworski brings an impressive resume after claiming the 2025 IBJJF No-Gi World Championship and double gold at the IBJJF No-Gi Euros.
Jaworski's aggressive grappling style has earned him recognition as one of the sport's most exciting young talents. The Polish prodigy's willingness to engage and hunt for submissions creates fascinating stylistic matchup against Tye's technical brilliance.
This welterweight submission grappling title bout promises high-level technique and non-stop action. Tye's perfect record meets Jaworski's championship pedigree in a 10-minute battle that could determine the division's hierarchy for 2026.
