Chelsea secured a commanding 3-0 victory over Barcelona in the Champions League, with Estevao and Liam Delap scoring in the second half. Barcelona's Ronald Araujo was sent off after receiving two bookings
in the first half. Chelsea had three goals disallowed during the match, but their dominance was clear throughout.
Enzo Fernandez found the net just four minutes into the game, but his goal was ruled out due to a handball by Wesley Fofana in the build-up. Shortly after, Ferran Torres missed a significant chance for Barcelona, shooting wide of the right post. Fernandez was denied again when he headed in from an Estevao free-kick, only for Trevoh Chalobah to be flagged offside.
Pedro Neto's contribution led to Chelsea's breakthrough goal as he flicked Marc Cucurella's cross on, allowing Jules Kounde to bundle it over the line in the 27th minute. Araujo's dismissal came just before halftime after he received a second yellow card for a late challenge on Cucurella.
Early in the second half, Andrey Santos thought he had scored when his shot trickled over the line despite Joan Garcia getting a hand to it. However, Chelsea was denied once more by an offside flag. Estevao then doubled Chelsea's lead four minutes later with a powerful shot into the roof of the net after evading two defenders.
Chelsea continued their dominance as substitute Delap scored their third goal. He calmly finished one-on-one after being set up by Fernandez. Initially flagged offside, VAR overturned the decision, confirming Chelsea's third goal. Estevao stood out with his performance, creating three chances and becoming only the third teenager to score in his first three Champions League starts.

Barcelona had been prolific in front of goal prior to this match, scoring in each of their last 24 Champions League games with a total of 67 goals. However, Chelsea effectively neutralised Barcelona’s attack, restricting them to five shots and only two on target throughout the match.
The pre-match discussions focused on comparisons between Estevao and Lamine Yamal. Estevao excelled at Stamford Bridge by not only scoring but also creating more chances than any other player on the field. At just 18 years and 215 days old, he joined Kylian Mbappe and Erling Haaland as one of only three teenagers to score in each of their first three Champions League starts.
