Japanese striking phenom Nadaka has been awarded the ONE's 2025 Muay Thai Fighter of the Year honor following his exceptional performance in ONE Championship, capping a perfect year that saw him claim
inaugural atomweight gold with four emphatic victories.
The 24-year-old superstar made his promotional debut as a ten-time Muay Thai World Champion in March on his home turf, immediately making a statement by demolishing fellow champion Rak Erawan via third-round knockout at the iconic venue.
Nadaka continued his dominant run in June, defeating Thai fighter Banluelok Sitwatcharachai via unanimous decision in his second outing. The Kanagawa native then secured his hat-trick against Hamada Azmani by TKO, demonstrating his versatility across different opponents and styles.
Three consecutive victories earned him a shot at the inaugural ONE Atomweight Muay Thai World Championship. At ONE 173 in November on Japanese soil, Nadaka delivered a masterclass by outclassing Thai veteran Numsurin Chor Ketwina over five rounds to claim championship gold.
The young champion has been flawless in ONE Championship throughout 2025, securing all four victories in emphatic fashion while extending his remarkable winning streak to 40 consecutive fights. His technical brilliance and knockout rate established him as atomweight's most dangerous striker.
Widely regarded as the greatest Japanese Muay Thai fighter of his current generation, Nadaka's journey began at just 14 years old when he made his professional debut. Over the past decade, his dedication and natural talent transformed him into one of the sport's most decorated champions.
Now an 11-time Muay Thai World Champion, Nadaka has accomplished what few non-Thai fighters ever achieve. He stands among the elite few to claim both the prestigious Lumpinee Stadium and Rajadamnern Stadium World Titles, Thailand's most coveted honors.
As the newly crowned ONE Atomweight Muay Thai World Champion, Nadaka enters 2026 positioned to defend his title and continue building his legacy. The Fighter of the Year honor validates his remarkable achievements and cements his status among Muay Thai's all-time greats.
