Bukayo Saka has advised Arsenal to remain focused and not be distracted by discussions about winning the Premier League title. Despite leading the table after 11 matches in the 2025-26 season, Saka emphasises
that there is still a long journey ahead. Arsenal have been runners-up for the past three seasons and currently hold a four-point advantage over Manchester City.
Arsenal's recent performance has been impressive, remaining unbeaten in their last eight league games. Their five-game winning streak was halted by a 2-2 draw against Sunderland on Saturday, which also ended their run of four consecutive clean sheets. They had not conceded any goals throughout October.
The Opta supercomputer predicts Arsenal as favourites to win the Premier League, with a 64.1% chance of securing their first title since the 2003-04 season. Manchester City are seen as their main rivals, holding a 22.9% chance of finishing at the top. However, Saka insists that Arsenal should ignore external opinions and focus on their own game.
"We just have to win every game, that's the mentality we go into the game [with] and see where it leaves us," Saka told talkSPORT. "We cannot get carried away with what people are saying, because one day they say something and the next day they say something else. "
After the international break, Arsenal will face Tottenham in a north London derby as they return to Premier League action. Following this, they will host Bayern Munich in the Champions League before travelling to Chelsea for another top-flight match.
Saka highlights that opinions about Arsenal can change rapidly, comparing them to changing weather conditions. He stresses that what matters most is the belief within their dressing room and maintaining confidence in themselves.
As Arsenal continue their campaign, maintaining focus on each game remains crucial for their title aspirations. The team aims to build on their strong start while keeping external distractions at bay.
