Bengaluru, Jan 29: The International Series has officially announced its much-anticipated return to India, with the second edition of the prestigious tournament scheduled from October 8 to 11, 2026, at the Prestige
Golfshire Club. The announcement marks a significant moment for Indian golf, reinforcing the country's growing stature on the global golfing map.
Alongside confirming the India leg, the Series also unveiled the first nine events of its 2026 calendar, underlining its evolution as one of golf's most influential global pathways.
The International Series continues to offer qualification opportunities for the Majors while providing a direct route into the LIV Golf League, attracting elite international fields across multiple continents.
India's debut on The International Series in 2025 proved to be a defining success, drawing unprecedented crowds and global attention. The event was headlined by American star Bryson DeChambeau, whose presence helped introduce a new audience to world-class golf in the country. The field also featured top LIV Golf players including JoaquÍn Niemann, Paul Casey, Carlos Ortiz, Abraham Ancer, Harold Varner III and India's own Anirban Lahiri, generating widespread excitement and elevating the tournament's profile.
Speaking on the return to India, Rahul Singh, Head of The International Series, described the 2025 edition as an inflection point for international golf in the country. He noted that the 2026 event will once again give Indian fans the chance to witness elite-level competition while celebrating India's increasingly prominent role in global golf. Singh also highlighted the Series' growth into a truly global and scalable pathway in men's golf.
The 2026 season begins with International Series Japan from April 2-5 at Caledonian Golf Club, followed by the historic Singapore Open at Sentosa Golf Club from April 23-26. The Series then heads to Vietnam (May 14-17) and Morocco (June 11-14), before returning to India in October.
The latter part of the season includes a debut event in China, a return to Saudi Arabia for the PIF Saudi International, and the inclusion of the Philippine Open and Link Hong Kong Open, further strengthening the calendar with prestigious National Opens.
With strategic partnerships across federations and destinations, The International Series continues to cement its place as the Asian Tour's marquee property. As the pathway to LIV Golf intensifies and the quality of venues and fields rises, the return of the Series to India in 2026 promises another landmark chapter for golf in the region.
