The biggest fiesta of football, the FIFA World Cup 2026, is scheduled to take place in less than a month. Naturally, all the hype and drama around the tournament is building up.
This year, the tournament will see an expanded format featuring 48 teams. India, as usual, could not qualify in this expanded tournament. However, even though not playing this year, India has an interesting connection in this year's forthcoming FIFA World Cup. This is not in terms of nationality, but through a player who has previously played in the Indian Super League (ISL).
Duckens Nazon, representing Haiti in the upcoming FIFA World Cup 2026, had previously played in India.
Who Is Duckens Nazon?
Duckens Nazon is a former Kerala Blasters FC player who is all set to make a WC debut at the upcoming

With 101 career goals for club and country, Nazon will be eager to leave his mark at the 2026 FIFA World Cup as Haiti aims to script history on football's biggest stage.
