Nepal Premier League 2025 Squads: Full List of NPL Season 2 Players of All Eight Teams

The second season of Nepal Premier League, NPL 2025 has started from November 17 and will continue till December 13, 2025.

The second season is featuring eight city- or province-based franchise teams: Biratnagar Kings, Chitwan Rhinos, Janakpur Bolts (defending champions), Karnali Yaks, Kathmandu Gorkhas, Lumbini Lions, Pokhara Avengers, and Sudurpaschim Royals.

The tournament includes 32 matches played in a round-robin stage, followed by playoffs with Qualifier 1, Eliminator, Qualifier 2, and the Final. All matches are hosted at the Tribhuvan University International Cricket Ground in Kathmandu.

The squads were finalized through an auction held on August 9, 2025, where 37 players were sold from a pool of 150 shortlisted players out of 458 registrants.

Some of the top auction buys included Dev Khanal, Arjun Saud, Pawan Sarraf, and Mohammad Aadil Alam, the latter being highly sought after by all franchises.

Notable international players participating in NPL 2025 include Faf du Plessis, Martin Guptill, Wayne Parnell, Imran Tahir, and Rashid Khan among others, enhancing the league's competitive quality.

The league stage consists of 28 matches in a single round-robin format, with the top four teams advancing to playoffs. Janakpur Bolts defeated Sudurpaschim Royals to win the inaugural season and are the defending champions entering this season.
