Initial Confrontation Unfolds
The incident, as reported to the Anandnagar police, began when Himanshu Sisodiya walked past a vehicle parked in the basement parking area of the Venus Atlantis complex on 100 Feet Road. At around 3:30
am on January 29, the situation quickly escalated. Darshan Raval, an account manager and colleague of Sisodiya, was present at the scene, speaking with his friend Pratham Shah. A car without registration plates blocked the passageway. The driver and three other men allegedly exited the car and confronted Sisodiya. The dispute arose because Sisodiya walked past their vehicle. The complaint filed with the police outlined the sequence of events leading up to the assault, revealing the triggers and the immediate aftermath of the initial confrontation.
Assault and Aggression Escalates
When Raval intervened to de-escalate the situation, two men turned their aggression toward him. Allegedly, they began to verbally abuse him, and then physically assaulted him with punches and kicks. The complaint also stated that one of the attackers tried to throw a dustbin at Raval, while another attempted to strike him with an iron rod, but was stopped by others present.
