On Monday, a horrific road accident took place on the Dhaulana-Gulawati road in the Hapur district of Uttar Pradesh, claiming the lives of at least six individuals and leaving a number of others severely
injured. The ill-fated bus was transporting passengers who were returning from a wedding celebration when the catastrophic collision with a truck occurred. The force of the impact was so great that it resulted in critical injuries for many on board. Law enforcement agencies were swiftly dispatched to the scene upon receiving notification of the incident, initiating immediate rescue and support operations for those affected by the tragedy. Superintendent of Police Gyan Sanjay Singh confirmed the details of the incident, stating that police teams were on-site rapidly to commence relief efforts. He specified that the bus, filled with revelers returning from a wedding, struck a truck on the Dhaulana-Gulawati route. "Police teams immediately reached the spot and started relief work. Victims were sent to the hospital, out of which six died on the spot and seven injured are undergoing treatment," Singh stated. The authorities managed to clear the truck from the accident site, and traffic flow has since been reinstated. All the injured individuals were promptly transported to nearby medical facilities for urgent treatment. Relatives of those who perished in the accident have also arrived at the location, and legal proceedings have been initiated to address the matter.
