OpenAI's ChatGPT services suffered an outage for a brief period of time on February 4.
The outage was resolved soon after, OpenAI said in an update on its website.
Thousands of users reported outage in the services of the OpenAI chatbot with outage tracker Downdetector showcasing a peak in the disruption reports.
OpenAI noted that about 14 components were affected in the outage, including one related to the APIs and 13 related to ChatGPT.
"We have identified that users are experiencing elevated errors for the impacted services. We are working on implementing a mitigation," the company said an a status update on Wednesday, February 4, at 02:02 am (IST).
"All impacted services have now fully recovered," the company later said in a status update at 3:44 am.

According to the OpenAI's website, the 13 services of ChatGPT that were affected included conversations, login, compliance API, search, file uploads, voice mode, GPTs, image generation, deep research, agent, codex, ChatGPT Atlas, and connectors/apps.
