Marvin Harrison Jr.'s new home has been revealed.
The Arizona Cardinals are trading their former first-round pick to the Houston Texans
, according to Texans head coach DeMeco Ryans. NFL insiders Adam Schefter and Ian Rapoport previously reported on Saturday, Oct. 10, that the Cardinals were "finalizing a deal to trade" the receiver, though neither had details of the other team involved. One day later, Ryans unveiled the Texans as the mystery suitor in his postgame press conference after the Texans defeated

How Marvin Harrison Jr. fits with Texans
Harrison struggled to establish himself in the Cardinals' offense over his first two and a half seasons in Arizona.
As a rookie in 2024, he was never on the same page as then-Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray in the way that tight end Trey McBride was. Last year, 2023 third-round pick Michael Wilson was quick to establish chemistry with then-backup quarterback Jacoby Brissett after Murray's injury, which further displaced Harrison on the depth chart.
With his new team, Harrison will have another shot to establish himself with a change of scenery.

"You guys wanna know, huh?" Ryans said. "Yes, we traded for Marvin Harrison. See ya."
