Philadelphia Eagles RB Saquon Barkley ran the ball 13 times for 30 yards and a touchdown against the Washington Commanders in Week 8. He also had a 24-yard reception on his only target of the game.

Why It Matters: Philly's offense had some promising moments early, which included a 24-yard wheel route to Barkley, who then finished the drive off with a touchdown on a direct snap. After that, however, the Eagles scuffled, and that included Barkley. Despite entering Week 8 with no official injury designation, there's no way anyone can watch the game and come away believing the former Offensive Player of the Year is anywhere near 100 percent. You have to think that if he were healthy, Barkley would be the focal point of the team's
offense in an effort to take pressure off of Tanner McKee. Perhaps a Week 10 bye will allow adequate healing. For next Sunday versus the Giants, however, Barkley is no better than an RB3/flex.
