They meet again.
For the third time in the last five seasons, the Pittsburgh Steelers and Cleveland Browns will battle on "Thursday Night Football."
Except this one comes with a twist – first place in the AFC North is on the line. For at least a few nights, the winner of this contest will claim sole possession of the division lead. Surely, no one saw that coming. Not with 42-year-old Aaron Rodgers quarterbacking Pittsburgh and definitely not with the quarterback situation in Cleveland.
The Browns might be the NFL's biggest surprise so far, especially with the way Deshaun Watson is playing for Todd Monken's club. The rookie head coach has been the subject of "one-and-done" discussions since he was hired, with people painting him as a stopgap until
a real coach arrived with a new quarterback next offseason.
Yet Monken isn't just surviving the early part of the season. He's thriving.
He rallied his team around bulletin board material from former Steelers coach Mike Tomlin, sparking a two-game winning streak. Yeah, you read that right. Winning streak.
If Cleveland can take care of business at home against Pittsburgh, as it has recently, the entire conversation around the Browns changes.
Can the Steelers offense keep building momentum, or will the Browns shock the football world? Here's how you can watch the Browns battle the Steelers on Thursday night.
