Kansas City Chiefs TE Travis Kelce was targeted five times in Week 1 versus the Denver Broncos. He finished with a game-high 71 yards on three receptions.

Why It Matters: There were basically two explosive plays on Monday night. Kelce's 59-yard catch-and-run was one of them, turning what was otherwise a forgettable evening into a solid fantasy performance. The veteran also moved into second place all-time in receiving yards by a tight end in the process. While Kelce fell way down a lot of fantasy draft boards, the 36-year-old remains a savvy route runner and someone that Patrick Mahomes trusts to make plays in big spots. He remains a viable low-end TE1 that can still deliver solid fantasy value.
